One day, as a child, I started painting pictures. Why? Because I am convinced that the world needs more colors to make it more beautiful. For me as an artist, painting means freedom & realization.
That's why I'm constantly exploring new forms of artistic expression and techniques. Which motifs work? To what extent does the design match the painting? In what context will the painting hang?
My approach: Not chasing after every new trend. But to create aesthetically sophisticated & distinctive art using traditional & modern techniques.

Questions & answers about commissioned painting
Which motifs are possible?
There are no limits to the motif no limits set. You are welcome to send me send me several photoswhich I will then combine to create a design. Before the realization of the commissioned painting you will receive one or more drafts so that you can decide at your leisure whether you like the motif you like. If you are satisfied with the design for the desired painting, I will begin with the realization of your painting.
When do I pay for the commissioned painting?
With order confirmation you pay for your artwork in full. I will then begin with the realization of the commissioned painting and you will receive during the painting process and after completion a photo of the work. If you are not yet completely satisfied with the painting, I will accept further corrections make further corrections.
Format, technique & style.
Commissioned artworks are possible in any size and in a variety of styles. Before the realization we decide which format & material I will use to realize your picture. I will be happy to advise advise you on the right technique. The following materials are possible: oil paint, acrylic paint, pastel paint, pencil, tempera paint, pigments, varnish and watercolor. Since all painting techniques are treated equally in terms of price, there is no extra charge.
Cash payment. You are also welcome to pay for your commissioned painting in cash.
How long is the delivery time?
The delivery time depends on the complexity & size of the commissioned painting. For a less complex motif with quick-drying colors, the waiting time is approx. 14 days. For a possible framing and the shipping of the commissioned artwork another three to five working days must be added.
More elaborate paintings in oil paint take a little longer to dry before they are ready for dispatch. Here the waiting time is between 14 and 30 days plus shipping time. The insured shipping Germany and worldwide.
What do I need for an order request?
With a request I need the desired size of the picture & a description of the desired motif. The best thing to do is to send me the desired motif by e-mail to me.
You are also welcome to visit me in my studio in Erfurt. Each work is produced according to a template. The detailed and careful way of working guarantees a maximum artistic result and a unique commissioned painting.

Because: especially in commissioned painting, it takes experience, spatial imagination and a confident handling of materials to reproduce the motif authentically .
