It all begins with the selection of high-quality materials. For my portrait paintings from photos, I use only lightfast inks and finely textured canvases—the ideal basis for a long-lasting, expressive work of art.

Format, technique & style.
Portrait painting is possible in any size and style . Before we begin, we'll decide on the format and material I'll use for your work. I'd be happy to advise you on the appropriate technique. The following materials are possible, among others: oil paint, acrylic paint, pastel paint, pencil, tempera paint, pigments, varnishes, and watercolor paint. Since all painting techniques are priced equally, there's no additional charge .
Which motifs are possible?
There are no limits to your desired motif . Feel free to send me several photos , or I can start researching the right template. Once you're happy with the desired motif, I'll begin working on your painting .
When do I pay for the portrait painting?
Upon confirmation of the order, you pay in full for your portrait painting . After that, I begin creating the portrait . During the painting process and upon completion, you will receive a photo of the work. If you are not entirely satisfied with the painting, I will make further adjustments .
What payment options are available to me?
Online bank transfer. After order confirmation, you will receive an invoice from me. After that, the implementation will take place.
Cash payment. You are welcome to pay for your portrait painting in cash .
How long is the delivery time?
Delivery time depends on the complexity and size of the portrait painting . For a less complex motif using quick-drying paints, the waiting time is approximately 14 days . An additional three to five working days must be added for framing and shipping of the commissioned artwork .
More elaborate oil paintings require a little longer to dry before they are ready for shipping. In these cases, the waiting time is between 14 and 30 days , plus shipping time. Insured shipping is available within Germany and worldwide.
What do I need for an order request?
When you send me an inquiry, I need the desired size of the image and a description of the desired motif. It's best if you send me the desired motif via email .
You are also welcome to visit me in my studio in Erfurt. Each work is created according to a template . My detailed and meticulous approach guarantees the highest artistic result and a unique portrait painting .
