Questions & Answers

Format, technique & style.

A commissioned painting is possible in any size and style. Before starting work, we decide on the format and materials I will use to create your picture. I will be happy to advise you on the most suitable technique. The following materials are available, among others: oil paint, acrylic paint, pastel paint, pencil, tempera paint, pigments, varnishes, and watercolor paint. As all painting techniques are priced the same, you will not be charged extra for this.

Which motifs are possible?

There are no limits to your desired motif. You are welcome to send me several photos or I can start a search for a suitable template. Once you are satisfied with the desired motif, I will start working on your painting.

When do I pay for the picture?

Upon confirmation of your order, you pay for your commissioned painting in full. I will then begin work on the painting. During the painting process and after completion , you will receive a photo of the work. If you are not completely satisfied with the painting, I will make further corrections.

What payment options are available to me?

Online bank transfer. After order confirmation you will receive an invoice from me. Afterwards the realization takes place

Cash payment. You are also welcome to pay for your commissioned painting in cash in cash.

How long is the delivery time?

The delivery time depends on the complexity and size of the commissioned painting. For a less complex motif with quick-drying colors, the waiting time is approx. 14 days. A further three to five working days must be added for any framing and shipping of the commissioned artwork.

More elaborate paintings in oil paint take a little longer to dry before they are ready for dispatch. Here the waiting time is between 14 and 30 days plus shipping time. Insured shipping is available in Germany and worldwide.

What do I need for an order request?

For an inquiry I need the desired size of the picture & a description of the desired motif. It is best to send me the desired motif by e-mail.

You are also welcome to visit me in my studio in Erfurt. Each work is produced according to a template. The detailed and careful way of working guarantees a maximum artistic result and a unique commissioned painting.
