Neue Werke
These recent paintings mark a further condensation of my practice.
They do not extend previous motifs, but intensify the internal logic of painting itself—where image, gesture, and material converge into a more immediate presence.
The works emerge from a process of reduction and concentration.
Figurative elements dissolve into painterly structures, while color and surface gain autonomy. What remains is not representation, but a field of tensions—between control and rupture, density and openness, image and abstraction.
In these paintings, scale becomes an active component.
The works are not conceived as images to be viewed from a distance, but as physical counterparts that unfold through proximity, movement, and duration.
Rather than describing something external, the paintings construct their own conditions:
a space in which perception is continuously renegotiated.

Spannungsfeld zwischen Vorlage und malerischer Eigenständigkeit
Meine Malerei entsteht im Spannungsfeld zwischen Vorlage und Eigenständigkeit. Fotografische oder reale Referenzen werden im Prozess aufgelöst und in autonome Bildstrukturen überführt, in denen Material, Farbe und Verdichtung die Bedeutung tragen.
Als prozessbasierte Praxis bewegt sich meine Arbeit zwischen autonomer Malerei und ihrer Funktion als Übersetzung im sozialen Kontext – zwischen Vermittlung, Produktion und Autorschaft.
